With time, a clairvoyant interior world has been nurtured; a world of melancholy, intrepid love, and an uncertainty of being. Drawing on classical and experimental influences, Death was composed and recorded in solitude, forming a retrospective geography of Daniel Terrence Robertson's inner world and the physical spaces around him: a childhood living room, the woods of Birken, a haunted Japantown bedroom, a Bowen Island lodge.
